App privacy policy
Updated October 4, 2026
This notice covers Ariakon DigitalPool Media Lab, the connected membership app for iPhone and Android. Ariakon is operated by Sporteq LLC. The app uses the same Ariakon membership services as the website.
Your account and profile
We use your existing member identifier, name, preferred name, email address, profile photo and membership information to sign you in, show your account and provide member services. Your sign-in details are sent securely to the Ariakon member service for authentication. Your password is not saved by the app. Session credentials are kept in your phone’s protected storage.
Camera and selected photos
Camera access is optional and requested when you choose Take a photo. Choose from library opens the system picker for the photo you select. The app does not scan your library or record video or audio. A selected or captured photo is cropped and resized, with original image metadata omitted. It is uploaded to Ariakon and Nexudus only when you save your profile. Your profile may be visible to other members according to your existing Nexudus directory and Community settings.
Membership, payments, events and bookings
Ariakon and Nexudus process your membership, passes, bookings, event registrations, invoices and purchase history to provide the physical Media Lab services you request. Payment details are entered on the secure payment page and handled by the payment providers, including Stripe. The app displays safe payment summaries such as card brand, last four digits and expiry; it does not collect your full card number or security code.
Community
Discussions, replies and other Community content you submit are sent to Ariakon and Nexudus and made available to members permitted to view them. Your existing published member profile may also appear in the directory. Do not include private information you do not want other members to see. Ariakon can use Community information to respond to support or safety concerns.
Entrance requests
When you tap Unlock Main Entrance, the Ariakon service uses your member identity and existing Kisi account to check access and send your request. Kisi processes member and access-request information. The app does not request your location or Bluetooth access for this button and does not turn an unlock request into an attendance record.
Optional notifications and device sign-in
If you enable notifications, the app and service use your device’s notification identifier and saved preferences to deliver ticket reminders and Community updates through Expo, Apple and Google notification services. Your phone controls notification permission. Face ID, Touch ID and supported Android biometrics are optional; your operating system checks them. Ariakon does not receive your biometric images or templates.
Service providers and security
Information is processed by Ariakon’s hosting, security, membership, payment and access providers as needed to run these services. These include Nexudus, Stripe, Kisi and Expo, as applicable to the feature you use. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request times and technical diagnostic information. The mobile app contains no advertising or third-party analytics tracker. Member-service connections use HTTPS, and administrative provider credentials remain on the server.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained as needed to provide member services, resolve disputes, protect the service and meet applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations. Some records are held by the relevant service provider. Signing out removes the app’s saved session and member view; uninstalling does not delete your Ariakon or Nexudus account. You can turn off camera and notification permissions in your phone’s settings and change notification and device sign-in preferences under My Account → Settings.
Privacy requests
Contact inquiry@ariakon.com with questions or requests about access, correction or deletion of personal information. Ariakon may need to verify that a request belongs to the account holder. Legally required records may need to be retained. A membership cancellation, sign-out and account-data deletion are different actions.
